With a textured button on the front that releases the shutter and large buttons on the back that let little hands turn the camera on and off, browse through pictures and delete images, using this camera is so easy it doesn't need to come with instructions. p The fun, brightly colored body helps distinguish this camera from boring adult models, making it an instant favorite. pbKid-Friendly Technology/bbr Kids can pick between using the live view on a 1.5-inch color LCD preview screen or looking through the two-eye viewer when taking pictures. The preview screen also lets kids look at pictures the moment after they take them. With a built-in flash that automatically illuminates darkened scenes, and a shutter noise that makes it easy to know when a picture has been taken, kids are sure to be delighted by their images. p The 64 MB built-in memory stores up to 500 pictures and eliminates the need for handling fragile and expensive memory cards. Two image resolution settings, 0.3 and 1.3 interpolated mega pixels, let kids take plenty of pictures and make 4 x 6-inch prints. pbFun, Durable Way to Encourage Creativity/bbr With its big rubberized grips and sturdy construction, we found this camera lived up to its incredibly durable reputation. Able to easily withstand being dropped again and again and waterproof for 30 minutes in up to three feet of water, this camera can handle the rough reality of active play. p The heavy-duty construction that makes this camera so durable can also make it seem somewhat bulky for little hands, but this won't prevent kids from wanting to take it on all their adventures. p Older children and adults may be disappointed by the image quality, but higher resolutions would allow less pictures to be stored and decrease the amount of fun children have with this camera. Kids quickly find that there's plenty of resolution for exercising creative urges and documenting the wonders of everyday life. p The camera comes with a USB cable so pictures can be downloaded quickly and easily for editing and viewing. It is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Apple Mac OSX, Apple Mac OS9 and requires a USB port 1.1 or higher for computer connectivity. pbr clear="all"bWhat's in the Box/bbr Kid Tough Camera, USB cable, user's manual. br clear="all"

Good Beginner Camera for a Youngster!!
Rating: 3/ 5
The camera is really cute. A little bulky, but our daughter seems to have no problem holding it to take pictures. It was very very simple to show her how to use all of the functions. So far its seems to be durable. My ONLY complaint is the picture quality. It is really bad. Most cell phones take better pictures. The photos are very grainy. I guess for a 5 year old it is okay and is good for her first real camera. One other note, the flash will not turn off, you must use the flash with every picture taken. Would I buy it over again? Yes, it is worth $40 to see how often she uses it before buying her a more expensive camera.

It is OK!

I don't think the pictures are that great but for a small child it is OK. The pics are alittle fuzzy at times but overall for the price you can't beat it.

Fisher Price Kid Tough Camera

This camera is great for kids who love to take pictures. My 5yr old granddaughter loves it. She takes pictures all the time. We got it at a great price and the shipping was very quick. I would highly recommend this camera because it is easy to use and durable.

Daughter's Favorite Toy

Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Digital Camera Pink [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]br /br /My daughter received the camera for Christmas! She loves it! She hasn't learned the correct way to take pictures. The button to take pictures is in the front so she turns it around and puts the lens in her eyes. We show her how to take the pictures but she goes back to turning the camera around and facing it towards herself. I think it would be better if the button were on top so the children know to face it the right way when taking pictures. Overall, a great buy!

My 3 year old had so much fun with this. She must have taken 100 pictures onb Christmas Day, however, I would have to say that the quality of the pictures is not very good. It seems that in this day and age it would not be so hard to combine durability with quality digital reproduction.
