Save your money and the headache!

Purchase another doll that the wings don't fall off every-time! The wings are hard to put on and sounds like most are defective because only one falls off constantly. I wish I had bought the other doll that is $4 more. I have had to hide the wings so I don't throw the doll out the window!
Not good enough for Goodwill

Mariposa's shoes are all that's left of her. br /br /Or I should say all that was slavageable. As many reviewers have noted, the wings refuse to stay on. br /br /So leave the wings off?! br /br /Without the wings, Mariposa has a huge, mechanical "wing holding" device sticking out the back of her dress. Just not something my 5 year old daughter is attracted to.br /br /Mariposa went in the trash. I wouldn't want her to disappoint another family.

I bought this doll even after reading the reviews only because my daughter had to have it. She loves it but the reviews are correct...the wings do not stay on or work well. The doll also has an odd body type for Barbie...thinner than the normal doll.
Great toy, but wings fall off

My 3-1/2 year old loves this toy, even with the wings falling off. We bought this toy, the wings fell off and we weren't able to keep them on. We returned the toy and got a second one, and the wings still fall off, but we are able to pop them back on easier than the first. Regardless, she still loves the toy. But if you don't have time to put the wings on, or have a child that is a little rough with toys... don't buy. You can still use the toy as a regular barbie... she is very beautiful!
